National Night Out

Date: Tuesday, Aug. 1
Time: 5-8 p.m.
Location: Northside Park, 1300 N. West St.

National Night Out is an annual event where the Wheaton Police Department encourages the community to come out and connect with your neighbors and Wheaton Police for a night of family fun. The 2023 event will take place at Northside Park from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 1. The event will take place in the southwest portion of the park, across from the tennis courts. Join us for a family friendly night of activities and connecting with your local community and Wheaton Police Department! 

Activities will include:

  • SWAT obstacle course for kids
  • Fishing with Wheaton Police Officers
  • Food & drinks
  • Music
  • Police Officer donut-eating contest
  • Activities with community organizations

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community.
