If you are in need of financial assistance to support the payment of rent, mortgage, or utilities, the following agencies may be able to help:
To speak with a caseworker regarding Milton Township’s General Assistance program, call 630-668-1616 or email generalassistance@miltontownship.net. Emergency Salvation Army funds may also be available through Milton Township.
The Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) assists low-income households in covering the cost of home energy. LIHEAP applications are accepted during the yearly application period or until funding is exhausted. Catholic Charities offers emergency and homeless prevention services including travel and food vouchers and financial assistance. For more information, call 630-495-8008.
DuPage County Community Services is a centralized access point for information and referrals for resources available in the community. These services include but are not limited to: Housing and Utilities, Family Support, Senior Services, Legal and Public Safety, and Transportation. For more information, call 630-407-6500.
