Liquor & Tobacco Control Commission

Purpose

The Liquor Control Commission reviews applications and conducts investigations of people or organizations applying for liquor licenses.

The same members serve on the Tobacco Control Commission, which reviews applications and conducts investigations of businesses applying for tobacco licenses. The commission also holds public hearings on violations of the Tobacco Control Ordinance.

Meetings

The Liquor Control Commission generally meets at 7:00 p.m. on the second Thursday of each month at City Hall. The Tobacco Control Commission meets on an on-call basis. All meetings are open to residents. You are welcome to attend, share your thoughts, or observe to see if you would like to apply for a position.
