The City of Wheaton will soon recognize 8 individuals and one group who serve as examples of what it means to be an outstanding member of the Wheaton community.
At 7 p.m. Monday, May 21, the Wheaton City Council will honor recipients of the 2018 Good Citizens Awards during their meeting at Wheaton City Hall, 303 W Wesley Street. The recipients are nominated by members of our community and are selected by the Community Relations Commission.

There are three categories for this award: Students, Adults, and Groups. This may be volunteer service for schools, churches, nursing homes, with civic groups or local non-profit organizations. An individual may also be nominated for outstanding service to another individual, such as tutoring or assisting those in need.
