The Downtown Wheaton Association will be hosting the Back to School Bash from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 20 on Liberty Drive from Wheaton Avenue to Main Street.
These two blocks of Liberty Drive will be temporarily closed from approximately 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday. In addition, parking in this area will be restricted starting the evening of Friday, Aug. 19. The affected areas on Liberty Drive will be marked with temporary no parking signs.
Drivers in this area should use an alternate route around the temporary road closure. Thank you for your assistance in helping watch for pedestrians in the area.
