[ARCHIVED] Daytime Parking Restrictions in Place on Wakeman Ave. during Road Work

road construction

Starting on Thursday, Aug. 4, the City’s Public Works Department will begin milling pavement on Wakeman Avenue from Main Street to President Street in preparation for placing new asphalt the following week. To complete this work, on-street parking will not be allowed on this section of Wakeman from 5 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday until the project is complete. Weather permitting, crews estimate this work will be completed before the start of the school year on Aug. 17.

The City will be placing “temporary no parking” signs in this area where daytime parking will be prohibited. We appreciate your assistance in abiding by these restrictions, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
