[ARCHIVED] Information on Tonight's City Council Public Hearing

In response to several questions the City received regarding tonight's City Council proceedings, the City Council will still be holding a public hearing at 7 p.m. Monday, June 13 regarding the construction of a proposed apartment complex on the block bounded by Liberty Drive, Hale Street, Willow Avenue and Wheaton Avenue. While the regularly scheduled Planning Session (a separate meeting) was cancelled, the public hearing is still taking place. 

This public hearing will be the only item before the City Council tonight. You can read the agenda and supporting materials on the City's website

If you plan to attend the meeting on Zoom and wish to speak during Public Comments, please note the following instructions:

  • Using a computer/smartphone: You can join on Zoom at https://us02web.zoom.us/j/81820566078. You will be automatically muted. If you would like to speak, click on the “Raise Hand” button to let the meeting administrator know you would like to speak. When it is your turn to speak, you will receive a notification that the meeting administrator is asking you to press “unmute.” Please announce your name and address before commenting.
  • If joining by phone: You can call into the meeting by dialing 312-626-6799, Meeting ID: 818 2056 6078 Passcode: 310275. You will be automatically muted. If you would like to speak, you need to press *9 to raise your hand and let the meeting administrator know you would like to speak. Once it is your turn to speak, you will receive a notification asking you to press *6 to unmute yourself. Please announce your name and address before commenting.
