Set up your young bicyclist with the skills for a fun and safe summer on two wheels. The Wheaton Bicycle Advisory Commission and Wheaton Police Department encourage children age 13 and younger to attend a free Bicycle Safety Rodeo on Saturday, May 14, from 10 a.m. to noon in the Wheaton City Hall parking lot. Located at 303 W. Wesley St., this event includes stations where young bicyclists will learn various bicycle safety techniques and maneuvers, and it will include giveaways at the end.
Children must be accompanied by an adult guardian/parent, bring a working bicycle, and wear a helmet. Please register for the event by filling out this online waiver so the commission can better plan for the number of attendees.
If needed, the rain date for this event will be May 21.
