[ARCHIVED] Road Closures Associated with Homecoming Parade

Wheaton Warrenville South High School will be hosting their annual Homecoming Parade along Wiesbrook Road on Wednesday Sept. 29, 2021. The parade will step of from Atten Park at 6 p.m. and continue south on Wiesbrook Road then conclude at Wheaton Warrenville South High School (1993 Tiger Trail). The parade is estimated to last approximately 30 to 45 minutes and will involve the closing of Wiesbrook Road from Muirfield Circle to Butterfield Rd (IL-56).

Access to Wiesbrook Road will be closed along the parade route at Warrenville Avenue, Durfee Road, Stonegate Lane, Emden Lane and Butterfield Road. Motorists are advised to choose alternate travel routes to avoid traffic delays.

Streets will be staffed with personnel from the Wheaton Police Department to assist and direct traffic.

Residents and motorists are being asked for their cooperation in not moving the barricades to ensure the safety of the parade participants and spectators.
