Construction crews will begin replacing sidewalks, installing new light poles and stormwater structures, and resurfacing streets on Willow Avenue between Main Street and Hale Street on Monday, Sept. 27.
Crews will start work on the north side of Willow Avenue then move to the south side. This work is expected to last approximately 4 weeks.
Parking spaces are temporarily removed on Willow Avenue to allow through traffic during construction and temporary walkways will be installed to access businesses in the area as entrances are intermittently blocked off for short periods of time.
We appreciate your patience as we continue to make improvements to Wheaton's downtown.
