Temporary detours will be in place for northbound traffic on Hale Street from Willow Avenue to Wesley Street on Monday, March 22 from approximately 7 a.m. to 9 a.m., and for eastbound traffic on Liberty Drive from Wheaton Avenue to Main Street on Monday, March 22 through Friday, March 26 from approximately 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day. These temporary lane closures are necessary for crews with the Downtown Streetscape Project to replace underground utilities.
Signs will be in place directing motorists around the affected area. Crews anticipate being able to leave one lane open for westbound traffic on Liberty Drive and will reopen both lanes once work has been completed each day. Please use caution when driving in the construction area.
