The Frosted Donuts consists of 26 voluntary participants from the Wheaton Police Department, Wheaton Fire Department, and Community Unit School District 200. You can see a video of the event here

This is the first year the Wheaton Police Department has participated in the Polar Plunge for Special Olympics. The team is currently in 1st place out of 48 teams, having raised over $20,000!

Community Engagement Officer Crystal Miroballi would like to thank the citizens of Wheaton for their support and contributions to Special Olympic Illinois! "We couldn't have been as successful as we were without the support of the community," Officer Miroballi said.
