Wheaton Police have shut down eastbound Roosevelt Road from West Street to Gables Boulevard due to a crash involving a car versus a bicyclist with injuries. Westbound Roosevelt Road traffic will remain open until the investigation team begins working, at which time both directions of traffic will be closed to all traffic.
Wheaton Police Department personnel are on site directing traffic around this area. The suggested detour for eastbound traffic is north on Gables, east on Childs, and south on West Street to Roosevelt Road. The suggested detour for westbound traffic is north on West Street, west on Childs Street, and south on Gables Boulevard to Roosevelt Road.
