The protest began in Adam’s Park, moved throughout the Central Business District, stopping at City Hall, before returning Adam’s Park. The City of Wheaton and the Wheaton Police Department respect the right of people to assemble peacefully. The participants met the City’s expectation for a peaceful gathering. Wheaton Police had been in contact with organizers before the event and provided a presence at the event to ensure everyone’s safety.
