Don’t miss a fun afternoon of storytelling, culture, food, arts, activities, music and more during the Festival of Cultures on Sunday, Sept. 15, 2019. Come out to the Wheaton French Market location (Main Street & Liberty Drive) from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. for this event, organized by the Wheaton Community Relations Commission.
Experience the more than 30 participants and groups who will be at booths sharing their heritage and cultures. Live music will fill the air, festive food trucks will be onsite, and participants can fill out a Festival of Cultures passport and win a prize.
The Community Relations Commission encourages the community to come together and be the best of what Wheaton is: a warm and welcoming place to live.
Note: On Sunday, Sept. 15, 2019, Liberty Drive will be closed for all motor vehicle traffic from Main Street to Cross Street from 3:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Residents and motorists are being asked for their cooperation in not moving the barricades to ensure the safety of the festival participants.
