[ARCHIVED] Message from the Wheaton Police Department


The Wheaton Police Department has received numerous inquiries regarding whether Mr. Thomas Kokoraleis, an individual subject to Illinois Sex Offender Registration Act, has registered with the Wheaton Police Department.  Mr. Kokoraleis has not registered with the Wheaton Police Department and has not contacted the Police Department indicating he plans on registering.

All individuals required to register as a sex offender must register with the law enforcement agency where they reside within 3 days and on an annual basis.

The information of individuals required to register pursuant to the Illinois Sex Offender Registration Act or Murderer and Violent Offender Against Youth Registration Act who register with the Wheaton Police Department is posted to the City of Wheaton website.  The current City of Wheaton Registered Sex Offender List can be found at:

The Wheaton Police Department continuously monitors all registered sex offenders, murderers, and Violent Offenders Against Youth who are registered in the City of Wheaton.
