Fire Dept ceremony

Wheaton Fire & Police Departments Honor Lives Lost on Sept. 11

This morning, the Wheaton Fire Department hosted the City’s annual Sept. 11 Commemoration Ceremony to remember those who lost their lives at Ground Zero in New York. See the video from this event on the City’s website. The ceremony took place in front of the Wheaton Fire Department Headquarters, with Wheaton Fire Department and Wheaton Police Department personnel presiding over the ceremony. Thank you to the community members who attended this tribute.

Changes Coming Soon to Commuter Daily Fee Parking

New convenient options are on their way for commuters who use daily fee parking in Wheaton. Later this month, the City will begin using a new tool that allows you to pay with the Passport Parking app or at a kiosk using cash or a credit card. This will replace the long-term meters in several areas, and signs will show which parking spots are affected by the change. Please note this does not apply to short-term parking meters. Look for more information coming soon about these changes.
