Wheaton Police & Fire Departments Taking Part in School Safety Town Halls

The Wheaton Police Department and Wheaton Fire Department will take part in Safety Town Halls hosted by Community Unit School District 200. The events will focus on answering the community's questions on school safety. 

The Safety Town Halls will be:

  • Saturday, March 9, 9 a.m., Wheaton North High School
  • Tuesday, March 12, 7:00 p.m., Monroe Middle School

Crews Out Filling Potholes

It's the time of year when potholes appear throughout our region due to the extreme shifts in temperature. The City of Wheaton Public Works Department has 2 crews out during the day and 2 crews out at night, working to fill potholes. To report a pothole in Wheaton, please visit www.wheaton.il.us/242. Thank you for your patience as crews work to improve our streets.

FBI and Wheaton Police Seek Bank Robber

On March 22, 2018, an unknown suspect robbed the Chase Bank located at 1800 S Naperville Road in Wheaton. The Wheaton Police Department and the FBI are still seeking this suspect, who is pictured in these surveillance photos. The FBI is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading directly to the arrest of this unknown suspect. For more information, please see the City’s website.

Election Candidates Forum is Feb. 28

The Wheaton League of Women Voters will host candidates for Wheaton Mayor and two positions on the Wheaton City Council, as well as District 200 School Board candidates and Wheaton Park District Board candidates, during a forum at 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 28, at Wheaton City Hall. Voter Registration Available at City Hall through March 5

If you are a Wheaton resident and need to register to vote or change your registration, you can do so at Wheaton City Hall between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. weekdays through March 5. Find out more about early voting and other election information.
