Library Concert in the Park
It’s Mardi Gras in August outside the Wheaton Public Library! Enjoy a concert in the park from 7 p.m.-8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7. Zydeco Voodoo plays a unique blend of traditional New Orleans music and popular rock and blues songs adapted to the Zydeco style. Concerts are held outdoors on the library’s West Plaza overlooking Adam’s Park. Limited seating available; please feel free to bring chairs and blankets. In case of inclement weather, concerts will be held inside the library.
Wheaton Summer Wine Walk
Sip, stroll and shop your way through downtown Wheaton while tasting fine wines. This event, which will take pace from 5-8:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 9, is provided by the Downtown Wheaton Association. For more information, see www.downtownwheaton.com.
Bike Wheaton Festival is Aug. 11
