New Speed Limit Begins Today

The speed limit for residential neighborhood streets changes from 30 mph to 25 mph, effective today. The City’s Public Works Department crews will be changing out street signs throughout August to reflect the new speeds. Learn more about this change and which streets will not be changing on the City’s website.

Also, if you posted a “Drive 25” sign in your yard, please remember that it needs to be on private property, not in the parkway. (Typically, this means it should be behind the sidewalk, closer to your home.)
