Go Underground with Wheaton's Sewer Division

Wheaton’s Sewer Division doesn’t have to dig underground to figure out where a sewer pipe might need fixing. Watch this latest “City Scene” to see the colorful way City crews check sewer pipes.  

Preservation Month

Look for Preservation Month Signs Popping Up

In the coming days, many of Wheaton’s historic homes and buildings will be designated with purple “Pride in Preservation” signs. The Historic Commission places these signs at historic sites and buildings in Wheaton each May as part of Preservation Month. Cantigny Park to Offer Free Parking to Residents May 11-21

In honor of Preservation Month, from Friday, May 11 to Monday, May 21, Cantigny Park is waiving its parking fee for Wheaton residents. For free entry, just show proof of Wheaton residency at the entrance. A valid driver’s license is preferred. Museums, gardens and other attractions inside the park are always free admission. Road Closures: 2018 Wiesbrook School Tiger Trot 

The 2018 Wiesbrook School Tiger Trot will be held on Saturday, May 12, from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Please note that these streets will be temporarily closed during the event.


Electronic Recycling This Weekend

The monthly drop-off event for electronic recycling will take place this Saturday, 9 a.m. to noon, at the Public Works Storage Yard at 820 W Liberty Drive. Find out which items you can bring and more on the City’s website.


Residents to Be Honored with Good Citizen Awards

The Community Relations Commission will present the recipients of the 2018 Good Citizens Awards on Monday, May 21 at the Wheaton City Council Meeting. Learn more on the City’s website.
