Community Alert: Ruse Burglary 

The Wheaton Police Department alerts the community of a ruse burglary in which a suspect identified himself as a City employee needing to inspect faucets. Water Division employees carry City identification and vehicles have the City seal.? Read more about this incident.

Snow Reminder: Keep Garbage Carts Out of the Street 

Please do not place your garbage or recycling carts in the street. This prevents snow plow crews from effectively clearing streets to the curb. For more snow removal tips, see the City's website

Electronic Recycling Drop-off This Weekend 

Wheaton's Environmental Improvement Commission will host the City's monthly electronic recycling collection from 9 a.m. to noon at the Public Works Storage Yard, 820 W Liberty Drive, this Saturday. You can bring items like stereos, computer equipment and other electronics, plus cooking oil, fluorescent light tube bulbs (not CFLs) and more. There is a charge for TVs and computer monitors.
