Native Plant Sale Attendee

Native Plant Sale to Take Place this Saturday

Don’t miss your chance to “grow native” at the annual Native Plant Sale, happening  Saturday, April 26 from 8:30-11 a.m. at the City’s Public Works Storage Yard (820 W. Liberty Drive).

Hosted in partnership with the City’s Environmental Improvement Commission, the City of Wheaton, and the Wheaton Park District, this event makes it easy for residents to plant native species in future landscape projects. Native plants are adapted to the soils and climate of our area and provide a habitat for a wide variety of native wildlife while providing an attractive, low-maintenance landscape.

To see a list of available plants and more information, visit the Wheaton Park District’s website.
