Redistricting Update

See Election Redistricting Proposals on City’s Website

The City is in the process of redrawing the boundaries of its four Election Districts based on changes in population recorded by the 2020 U.S. Census. This process ensures residents are equally represented and that there are as close to an equal number of residents in each district as possible. You can see the two redistricting proposals on the City’s website, along with background information and the City Council’s guiding criteria. This site also includes an interactive map where you can see which district you would be located in under each proposal.

The next City Council discussion of these proposals will take place at the Sept. 12 City Council Planning Session, which takes place at 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 12 at City Hall, 303 W. Wesley St. More information and a link to attend by Zoom are available on the City’s website.
