International Make Music Day Events

The Wheaton Fine and Cultural Arts Commission is pleased to announce a celebration of music on Saturday, Oct. 1, in honor of International Music Day. This day has been celebrated around the world since 1975, with the goal of using music to unite people and cultures. 

The Commission will be hosting various choirs and singing groups in the bandshell at Memorial Park from 3-6 p.m. The Commission would like to ask everyone to help us close out the day by joining in a community-wide sing along of “It’s a Small World” at 6 p.m. Sing on your porch, in your yard, on the sidewalk or anywhere you’re comfortable!
