Tall Grass and Weeds

Keeping your yard well-maintained makes the neighborhood more attractive. By cutting your grass regularly and controlling weed growth on your property, you will be helping to keep Wheaton a beautiful place to live and work. The City requires you to keep your grass height below 8 inches. Additionally, any weeds within the grass also need to be maintained below 8 inches. Planting beds must be periodically maintained and weeds growing in excess of 8 inches in these areas need to be removed.
