Volunteer Opportunities
Among the many outstanding qualities for which Wheaton is known is the community's spirit of volunteerism. City boards and commissions often are seeking volunteers to help with their events and activities. Below are some current opportunities for volunteers.

- Make a Difference Day
Date: Saturday, Oct. 23, 2010
Information: Volunteer to help with projects already planned for Make a Difference Day or organize your own project. More information

- Electronic Recycling Collection
Date: Second Saturday of each month, 9 a.m.-noon
Information: Volunteers are needed to help unload electronics from residents' cars at this monthly drop-off event to recycle electronics.
Location: Public Works Storage Facility, 821 W. Liberty Drive.
